The FWT Freshpoint 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis systems are highly effective because they provide four-step water treatment

Step #1 PRE-FILTER
Water is filtered with a five-micron depth filter to remove particulates, sand, silt, rust particles, and other solid matter.

Step #2 PRE-CARBON FILTER
Water is filtered with an activated carbon block cartridge to protect the RO membrane by removing Chlorine

Step #3 RO MEMBRANE
Metals, salts, & dissolved solids are rejected by the RO membrane during this step so only high-quality water is sent to the storage tank

Step #4 POST-CARBON FILTER
Water from the storage tank is treated with a polishing carbon filter to remove any remaining tastes and/or odors.
